Back in 2018 Alex was living in a rented basement apartment in Washington, DC, and she transformed her weed infested tiny backyard in a beautiful English inspired urban cutting garden. She found her hands in the dirt for 6+ hours a day and after her first summer gardening she was hooked on growing and arranging flowers.

After ditching her TV job Alex became a full time florist and gardener providing flowers for weddings and events, selling bouquets out of her home and working with small businesses and farmers markets. She loves to forage local product, work with other local growers as much as possible, and practice sustainable and organic methods in her gardens and business!
